Bra Boys was nominated for 4 awards, including Best Original Score (Macario De Souza and Jamie Holt), Emering Filmmkaers (Sunny Abberton and Macario De Souza), Best Documentary, Best Film and took home the Best Documentary Award.

Bra Boys was nominated for 4 awards, including Best Wipe Out (Richie Vas), Heaviest Water (Mark Mathews), Biggest Barrel (koby Abberton), and Best Documentary (Bra Boys) and took home both the Best Wipe Out and Best Documentary Awards.
Bra Boys have previously won the following international awards; Best Documentary at the Huntington Beach Surf Theater Film Festival, official selection at the International Film Festival Hawaii and Mostra Do Surf International Film Festival Brazil.

Macario De Souza has been appointed Producer on Beyond Production's new six-part documentary series on Australia's most famous Rugby League club, South Sydney Rabbitohs. De Souza will spend the majority of their season shooting the team and their new owners Russell Crowe and Peter Holmes A Court. The series will be broadcast on ABC later this year.

Macario will be spending the next few weeks in New York to work on Blinde Eyewear's new surf film. We will be shooting in NYC capturing some surf/skate action in the city that never sleeps for the upcoming DVD Six Pins Directed by Macario De Souza.

The Best of Snap Off The Lip Film Festival, will be aired on Fuel TV next Wednesday 27th June @ 7pm. This was the competition from which Macario took out best film with The Hard Way earlier this year & Ours in 2004. Both short films will be screened so check it out.

A second major production is underway. This time it is a surf flick showcasing Blinde Eyewear's surf/skate team. It will be released with Waves Magazine, January issue as a tip-on on the cover. Surfers include Mark Mathews, Asher Pacey & Skater Corbin Harris. Macario will be spending the next week shooting Corbin Harris skate a secret spot down the South Coast of NSW.

We have begun a new production a few weeks ago. A surf documentary on the Bra Boys, a surfing brotherhood from Sydney's Maroubra Beach. The production is expected to continue for the entire year.

The Hard Way WINS FIRST PLACE at the Snap Off The Lip Surf Film Festival held at Bondi Beach Road Hotel. Over 300 people watched 12 finalist films after Macario De Souza's short on Koby Abberton took out the nights best prize. This is the second year in a row De Souza has won the competition (winning best film with Ours in 2004).
